I have been in this business since the mid-60s; I have experience in film and stage production, including lighting, wardrobe, and makeup, and have shot stills for films in Arizona and Hollyweird. I have worked feature and hard news photography, everything from parades and auto races to floods and combat.
Much of my work is based on fine art. I have a Master's degree in Art History, and my favorites are 18th and 19th century portraiture, so many of my sets have the feeling of classic paintings come to life, from Copley, Romney, David, and Ingres to Sargent, Degas, and Augustus John - they all have influenced my work, along with photographers like George Hurrell, Clarence Sinclair Bull, and Milton Greene...
I like to do 'concepts' rather than just 'pretty girl' shoots - history, art interpretation, cosplay, steampunk, you name it; if it's creative and different, I do it!
I hope you like my work, and if you have any ideas for sets you'd like to see, please let me know, I'm open to just about anything Zivity allows...and a few things they don't!
