A little info about my new set shot by towelb0y, Make Art, Not War, that is entered into the Activism Prize!
The two barrels are Survival Supplies I was lucky to find! They were issued by the Office of Civil Defense in Feb. 1963 as a container for drinking water and then waste as the instructions for use are written all across the metal barrel. I found them in an old warehouse storage and brought them home(I have a tendency to bring home random things people are getting rid of).
The poster is by Shepard Fairey aka Obey and hangs in my living room. I love the art for it's simple message: Pick up your camera or your paintbrush or "insert medium of choice here" and make art! That's what I enjoy so much about zivity; all these amazing artists coming together to collaborate and share their beautiful art work.
