falstaff is happy with the new machine that came in to replace El Broken Downo.
I'm just someone who is an expert level appreciator, not having the beauty &/ or skill to create the magnificent, beautiful visions of loveliness that proliferate here on Zivity.
Quark level manipulative telekinesis.. :P

Hey, how are you today? I have jsut got back from my circuit class.
Hiya , Miss Babs! . :D It's been a fun day so far. I just completed the first of 2 straight days of my movie trailer job. I went to see the movie "The Hangover, part III". Definitely a movie to see if you like extremely lowbrow humour. ;) Of course, the best part about it is that it's played as a kind of action/mystery movie, but completely irony free. Not a single "wink" to the camera. :P
Sounds an intriguing movie! I love a good mystery movie, and that combined with the comedy sounds really good. What are you going to watch tomorrow?
I'll be seeing the animated movie "Epic" & the car movie "Fast & Furious 6" :P
My son Matthew could tell you a funny story about "Fast & Furious 6". Some of the scenes were filmed in Liverpool, where he is a student. He inadvertently walked on set in the streets of Liverpool, right in the middle of a very fast and furious car chase, and almost got run over! He was so scared!
Happy Hump Day! How are you today?
Fairly happy. No humping happening, but I got back my income tax refund, which is always nice. :D
Yes indeed, a refund is always good. Fun day ahead for me today! The sun is shining, and I am going out to shoot a new outdoor set today, at a location I found a couple of weeks ago.
Niiiiice.......Now I'm all excited...& can't wait to see what the result is.. :D What's the theme for this one?
No particular theme, more the location. It's a big old gnarled tree with lots of exposed roots. I thought it would make a great backdrop for a set.
Ooooooooo......I have your theme then! :D Treebeard a la Lord of the Rings. :D
Hee hee, yes indeed! As long as the tree can be Treebeard, and not me,lol! Incidentally, the Ribble Valley area where we shot Islands in the Stream is the area Tolkien based his Middle Earth on. He lived in the Ribble Valley when he was writing part of Lord of the Rings, and was a teacher at Stoneyhurst College just a couple of miles from where we shot the set.
Well, talk about symmetrical-ness. :D
You inside Treebeard's hand ought to be an intriguing sight... :D
Hee hee. Not quite Treebeard, but it is a very interesting old tree.
I imagine Mr. David could make something happen in post.. ;)
Yes, I am sure he could. Hmmm, that's a great idea! Off to have breakfast and get ready now, so enjoy the rest of your evening, and chat soon.
Anytime you want to pick my brain for idea-r-s.. :P ;)
I will definitely do that. You're a great ideas man! Off to have breakfast now, so chat soon. xoxoxo
Thanks so much for being a legend on my set, I just sent you some goodies, enjoy!
It's always nice to be a legend.. ;)
It is! They should build a statue in your honour.
*sends out forms to artists to give ideas for future statue* :P
Thanks for accepting my friend request! :) Cool name!
My pleasure.. :D The name is one of Shakespeare's best ever name creations. :D
Agreed! The Bard did have some pretty cool name creations as well as his musings in general! :)
Double agreed on musings in general. Was there ever really a fellow in the history of the English language that so got human beings? ;)
probably not... and I've found his words are even better when performed in Old English. :)
Triple agreed on that... ;)
Awwwwww... you're gonna make me blush.. :P
See?? I'm blushing now. :P & being of Irish/Polish descent, trust me when I say that when I blush.....I BLUSH.... heehee.. ;) :P
Thank you for accepting my FR! :-)
If you would like, tell me what you think of my first set.
Horray! You accepted my friendship! Thanks :)
Well, your combination of ultra hotness & super badassery did it for me. :D
Aww shucks, thank you kindly!
Rock on with your bad self! \m/ (>.<) \m/
*proceeds to rock on with bad self* :P
Oooh, a new computer! What did you get?
I got an Acer Aspire. I actually took a step back as far as operating systems go, going with Windows 7 instead of 8. 8 is just WAY too much of a pain to figure out. :P
I use Windows 7 too. Haven't really looked at Windows 8 at all.
Unless they seriously change the way it works, I wouldn't bother with 8 anytime soon.
Ok, I will stick with 7 for now, then.
Wisest decision you could ever make... ;)
An easy decision, as I am happy with Windows 7 right now.
Thank you so much for the votes on my new set! Urgh-I hate technology. Hope your computer gets fixed soon. :)
thanks so much for voting ont he new set with Roswell lovely :) hope your computer problems are finally sorted!
Thank you very much for your votes for Islands in the Stream. What an amazing coincidence! You were voting for the set as I was writing on your wall just now.
Hey, how was your weekend? I believe you have an extra-long weekend over there in Canada, as it's Victoria Day today.
Happy Thursday! i did something very silly yesterday, but it's a bit long to write on your wall, so i will send you a PM about it.
Happy Hump Day! It's a rainy Hump Day here in England. How are you today?
I wish I could say that I'm happy, but I'm seriously ticked off right now. My province of British Columbia was a pathetically lazy bunch of jagoffs of whom 52% of eligible voters didn't even bother to vote. & then, since we still have the "first past the post" system of voting, a minority of the 48% that even showed up helped vote in a party that is the equivelant of the Thatcher-era Tories.
So, sadly, on a day where everyone should be merry like Hump Day, I'm feeling more than a little ticked off.
That really isn't good! I can't understand people who can't be bothered to turn out and vote. 50% turnout shows a lot of apathy!
It utterly boggles the mind that so many people will let a small minority of people decide how to set the legislative agenda.
I know. Don't they care? Crazy!
I'm imagining most of them are the "politics is boring. None of those guys "speak" to me" types. Or the cynical "They're all crooks, why bother??"
I expect that is it. Very shortsighted of them, though.
Good Morning, Good Morning. I am just waking up for the day with a cup of tea. How are you today?
Quite spiffily. About to head off the sleep & then wake up to go vote in our latest provincial election tomorrow. :D
Hope you slept well. Election time! Are elections always held on Tuesdays in Canada, or does it vary? In the UK we always have elections on Thursdays, but I have no idea why.
It does always seem to be on a Monday or a Tuesday pretty consistently.
What else are you up to today as well as voting?
Happy Sunday! How are you today?
Hiya! :D It was a nice little day. Sent my Mum a nice little Mother's Day card online that included a bit with me singing "Happy Mum's Day to you" to the music of "Happy Birthday". Did a couple of rounds of my now patented "sprint hikes before work...& now I'm about to watch the latest episode of Games of Thrones! :D Ever seen it?
Aww, I am sure your Mum loved that! No, I have never seen Game of Thrones, but my son watches it all the time. He loves it.
You should really watch it as well....It's a truly awesome show! I HIGHLY recommend it. :D
That's what Matt tells me. I must give it a go.
You must...you absolutely must. & since the seasons aren't that long, it'll be wildly easy to catch up on it... ;)
I will give it a go.
Matt has all the old series, so I will watch it with him.
TGIF!!!!!!!! A fun Friday for me today, as I am shooting a new set. Studio set today, as the sun is hiding, and it's grey and cloudy. Going to be a real fun, sexy set, though! What are your plans for the day?
Fun, sexy set, eh? :P What's the costuming theme for this one? :P
As pour moi, it's another fun movie working day today. Baz Luhrman & Leo DeCaprio in that new movie "The Great Gatsby". :D
I will send you a PM to tell you about the set.
Enjoy the movie! I saw the original version of "The Great Gatsby" years ago.
How are you today? Did you have a good Wednesday? Thursday morning already here in England, and i have just woken for the day.
'Twas a nifty day indeed. Especially after we had the adrenaline rush of having a health & safety inspector surprise us at work. We managed to scramble to make sure all the little "t"'s that had to be crossed were fixed up just before she came around to our department. She liked what she saw. :D
So what's it like 8 hours in the future?.. :P
Oh no, I hat inspections! Glad to hear she was happy with what she saw. 8 hours in the future is a lot lighter and sunnier than 8 hours in the past, lol!
I hat? I meant hate, of course! I have never heard of the verb to hat, have you?
Hehehehe.....I've heard of it, actually. :P It's a summary verb to stand in for "to place upon one's head". :P
Hee hee, so it is! I just Googled it. Never knew it was a verb as well as a noun. I learn something new every day!
Happy Hump Day! How are you today?
Sadly, not humping at the moment... :P
Hee hee, me neither, lol.
Wildly gorgeous woman like you? I find that. while possible, HIGHLY unlikely. ;)
Hee hee, not humping now either. I am going dancing this evening, though.
Boo, how are you? Happy Tuesday from England! My Tuesday had got off to a great start, because my Military Boot Camp set has jsut gone live, and it's an editor's pick. Yayyyyyyy!!!!
You're just wildfire with getting the editor's picks......but that's just your awesomeness on parade.. ;)
Hee hee, my uniform wasn't quite standard issue, though, as I glammed it up a bit with fishnet stockings and heels, and of course it wasn't long before the uniform came off!
That's not a regulation woman's military uniform?? The devil you say! :P
Hee hee, what do you think of my take on the military look?
My name is Tim & I approve this message.. ;)
Glad you approve, Tim.
How are you today?
Tres spiffy. I'm merrily enjoying the TV show "The Daily Show" right now before I nod off to sleep. :D
Enjoy the show! I am just about to have breakfast, then off out into the sunshine for my walk with Leo.
Tell Leo I say hi.. :D
Will do! He is wagging his tail to say Hi back!
I hope you had a good Sunday. Mayday Holiday today here in England, and the weather is just perfect! I have all the family coming over for dinner (the beef Wellington I told you about), and I plan to get all the preparations done this morning, so I can spend the afternoon out in the garden, enjoying the sunshine. Hope your Monday will be a good one too.
Hey! How have you been?
Hiya! :D I've been pretty spiffy. Been working and sprint hiking & getting paid to see movies like nobody's business these days.. ;)
