I have actually never liked pumpkin pie until I made some this year. My grandma(and everyone else I know, for that matter) always use canned pumpkin, which I'm not really into.
That's really funny! I can't say that's what I meant by battle of the pies, though. I sort of meant like a battle for the best pumpkin pie. Haha. -
I've made three this year already. Two around Thanksgiving time, and then one last week just because. :) Pretty sure I want to make two more for Christmas and perhaps have somewhat of a 'battle of the pies' with my Grandma. -
I am pretty good! Was just cleaning house today and doing my best to get into the holiday spirit. :)
Debating on whether or not I want to get some pie pumpkins so I can make some REAL pumpkin pies. :) -

Yes, that race for top model is a difficult one. Ive only gotten Top Model twice, and that was quite awhile ago! But she's a dear and the set is gorgeous. I hope hope hope she wins.
