    I like it when days go quickly and are also productive. Having the first without the latter leaves you with an empty feeling at the end of the day, and that's never good.

    Not sure yet. I just think that the concept of creating one is fun! Whatever I end up doing, it's sure to contain some terrible pun or word play. (It's my weakness; I can't help it!)

    Mostly essays and articles about the creative process. How meta, right? I also do a fair amount of ghost writing as of late, putting good words into other people's mouths.

    I certainly count that as a favor to man kind. Most people just have no feel for words. Poor writing being published hurts the art as a whole. Lowers the expectation of the consumer which leads to a lesser quality being acceptable and thus produced . Sorry, I'll get off my tiny soap box. Point being, thanks for the ghost writing. Is it hard to not see your name on your work?

    You have my envy, Terra. Screenwriting is a craft that leaves me in awe while watching it unfold, but its execution positively eludes me.

    I currently write for the literary arts magazine Line Zero (a quarterly freelance gig) and full-time for a university. I have a few other projects in the works, but what writer doesn't? :D

    I wish I was a professor; at least I could explain that job in a single sentence! I work as part of the marketing department for a small private liberal arts university. Essentially, I'm the person in charge of writing and editing the material (brochures, letters, etc.) that we put out, ensuring that its voice matches that of the institution. It's more creatively rewarding than it sounds!

    Oh, believe me, I am! It still occasionally has the downsides of any office-based job, but there's no replacement for the feeling of bringing to life an idea where there was once only a vacuum of thought.
