    Hmm, is turkey popular in the UK? I thought they were primarily a US kinda thing?

    Turkey is very popular here in the UK. Most people in England eat turkey at Christmas, and although lamb is more traditional at Easter, some people have turkey then too.
    Looking forward to seeing the new set when it goes live. Have you seen my latest set yet? It's an outdoor fetish set, called Junction 27.

    Turkey is de rigueur here for thanksgiving, but is showing up at xmas more and more lately. Ham is pretty traditional for easter and xmas both.
    However, independence day is usually about BBQ and grilling stuff. Turkeys do show up there, along with hamburger, chicken, hot dogs, etc.
    Apparently, it's all about the food. :-)

    And I'll check out the new set!

    We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in England, of course, or Independence day. Traditionally people ate goose at Christmas, but most people eat turkey instead now, or sometimes duck.

    Very few people eat goose here now, but duck is quite popular in restaurants.

    Supermarkets are interesting to visit on travels.
    Some places there are boxes of consumer electronics stacked next to the bananas. Other places have no wine, or any alcohol at all, you must go elsewhere. Curious variety.

    Ironing? I did that last about three years ago I think. Hmm, I wonder where the iron is now?

    I had a great family Christmas thanks, daev. No freezing here, or any snow at all, so I still haven't been able to go out and shoot in the snow.
