awwwe Kym this wall post seriously made my day! I was all giddy and smiled like an idiot for 10 minutes. x3 Yes! I worked very hard to make sure the set was perfect. I am a bit of a perfectionist, hence why I edit majority of my own sets you've seen of mine. :P I've always been a closet photographer(lol) just never could afford my own truly pro camera. .
and oh.my.god. that would be AMAZING. I think my dying wish would be to photograph your lovely self. ;D <333
Well it sounds like a pretty solid plan to me ;) We'd make a killer team as I myself am a perfectionist haha. I take you finally got your pro camera then? What model/make is it?
Actually no I used Kealani's Nikon. :o She had it during a group shoot at this lovely Mansion in Santa Rosa. I was so inspired! Truth is I've been trying to get a camera for years yet never made enough money to save for it. but now I'm waiting on my next Ziv check to finally be able to afford the one I desire, either a Nikon D90 or D7000. Do you have a favorite model/make?
Haha that's cool :D Yeah cameras are butt fucking expensive. Atti and I have been saving our asses off for a Nikon D600 mainly for the HD video (thought about the D90 but I think the D600 is a better investment in the long run) but we've been torn between buying a new camera or new lenses, not an easy choice! I don't really have a favorite since I haven't tried too many others than the D80.
Hmm I will take that into consideration for sure! So the set went live just now. i'm a bit dissapointed it was not selected for editors pic, since I worked so hard on it...maybe it's the lighting I had trouble with some of the pics because we only used the light provided by the bathroom..or maybe I'm just rusty. oh well, hopefully Kealani's fans enjoy it. :)
Wow weird I am really surprised that the set didn't make editorial pick, it's a beautiful set, I love the colors and there are really great shots in there, very diverse. Sadly not using photography lights can make photos a bit grainy and sometimes blurry if the settings aren't right so maybe that was it but I thought they looked in focus.
dawwe how'd you get so sweet anyway? :P Well that's OK. I'm glad you liked it though. there is always a next time and I will make sure to use more light!
Awe Thanks D. I miss you! Sorry for being AWOL lately. I'm in the middle of moving and all that good stuff. les than 2 weeks and I'll finally be settled again! oh and to your earlier comment : I already live in Norcal but I am moving about an hour North of where I am now. ;P
