DavidHoughton is walking down the pier - may have taken a few photos on the way
I have been interested in photography from my teens. I would photograph anything from family & friends to motorcycle racing & landscapes. When other people were playing football etc I would be in my darkroom printing pictures. Little did I know that 30 years later I would be still taking pictures albeit with a digital camera & computer to replace my darkroom. Cameras & accesories have come a long way & almost everything is automatic. However the photographer is still an artist & has to do more than just point the camera at a subject.
Now I concentrate on getting great shots with models and I do work with some great models. I work with an ever- changing stream of models, but some do last & allow me to get a great working relationship so we can get the very best images from our shoot.
Zivity gives me an ever-ready portal to display my work and show people the images I produce with my models. It's said that a photographer should be happy with the end result of his or her work irrespective of what other people think ,but I prefer also to have the admiration of viewers ,& how better to show it than by having votes cast & receiving a just reward for all the hard work that went into the shoot.
I work at photography as a full -time occupation & work from my studio as well as shooting as much outside location work as is possible.

If you are not a fan of the latest set have a look at the previous ones. I have a wide variety of themes and styles and I know that not all appeal to everyone so maybe another may be your cup of tea (no pun intended). We do rely on votes from fans to be able to keep producing sets & all votes are appreciated whether it be one or one hundred.
It's nice to have a copy of your favourite set. Get it in high resolution to keep. How do you do that? It's easy by just voting 10 votes on any set.
Generally bonus's are as follows :-
1+ vote gets you one shot from the set in high resolution
5 + gets five un-published bonus high res images
10+ gets ten un-published bonus high res images
*** Look out for special bonus sets & incentives etc by checking out the model's profile.

Your sets are so well done. What kind of camera do you mainly shoot with? Your sets with Babs are so well done. I know, it is easy having a muse like her- lol. Joe aka cladonia
I did use a Canon 50D till about 1 year ago but I upgraded to a 5D mk11 (the 50D is now my backup). The 5D is so much better especially on low level lighting.
I use the 5D Mk II also and love it. Now that you just upgraded to the Mk II, Canon now has the Mk III out. But I read it's not much different (auto HDR, if you're into that).

It's actually a Public holiday weekend for us. A pity about the weather, wet & cold. I hope you had a good weekend. We had a good run & I have 3 shoots with Babs done & one with MayJewell.

You have some super new sets too. Your 'Enchanted' set looks like it could have been in England not what I would expect Arizona to look like. I would really like to do a shoot in the desert areas in Arizona though.

I have a mac book and already tried the basic way to make them into a zip form...but for some reason my macbook wont do it...any ideas??? :]
