DIRTYDOLLY is spilling blood for my art and dreams
With 19 years experience as a designer and creative director in the arts and entertainment industries, Richard Marz has art directed photo shoots for many of Hollywood’s biggest stars, including Gwen Stefani, Carmen Electra, Milla Jovovich and Salma Hayek. As a computer artist his Photoshop skills are unmatched, being able to take any raw image and make it look absolutely perfect.
Richard has lived in Paris and New York City, prospering as an artist, muralist and art teacher. There he was engaged to a fashion model with Elite Model Management and had the luck to observe the fashion industry up close and personal. “I would be on photo shoot sets with my fiancée and Pamela Hanson, or Marco Glaviano, or be behind the scenes in the Louvre during the Paris Fashion Shows and say to myself, how the Hell am I allowed here!?”
He’s owned a clothing line, been a part of three magazines (co-owning one) started a video game development company (that failed miserably) as well as an animation development studio (that did better, they actually sold a property!) All in all he has survived as an artist since the age of seventeen, and all this experience is brought to his photo shoots.
