Thanks, and yes, I think we will. Biggest plan is to have a drink at the ice castle lol. Then there are parades and lots of concerts outdoors on the Plains of Abraham.

Yes, it's made of large blocks of ice. Some people pay over $200/night to stay in it. Kind of like a Mardi Gras except that the average temp in Quebec this time of year is -20C
I've been to this beautiful city many many time growing up and my mom now lives there and so I go as often as I can but I have never made it to the Winter Carnival

Aww, it will be great for them to meet. I am looking forward to meeting my daughter's boyfriend for the first time in person later this year when they come over to visit from Australia. We have met him on Skype, of course, but not in the flesh.
