Four new sets this week!!! But you should know something about them....
"Constellations" in a blood red sky...
I spend a good part of every August night with my head craned up trying to catch a glimpse of a meteor burning up on it's way to smash into earth. When I was a kid, I actually found a meteorite. If you've never seen a shooting star, you can at least see this constellation...
"Intermezzo" was shot a few years ago as inspiration for a series of oil paintings. But the photos are cute too!
Midge the "Mad Housewife" isn't angry.. she's at her wits end! I played this character for a job and thought it was too fun to pass up. I really can't take every frame of every photo shoot seriously. I'm hoping this one makes you laugh a little... go ahead. Smile!
"she's van gogh in the afternoon" borrows from thematic ideas that I explored in a show of original music, stop motion video, and performance in 2005. I was also very taken with Mark Rothko's paintings of vibrant color blocks and if you are familiar with his work I think the influence will be very clear. Some of these photos have been shown in galleries in Texas, and there is an album you can download and videos online of this show. Send me a PM if you'd like a link.
