What a coincidence, I have a degree in Psychology and did special studies in religions most of my life. My main areas were Egyptian and Greek/Roman (they're so similar) and I'm pretty proficient in modern monotheistic religions. :) The old polytheistic were always my favorites, they were so much more creative. :)

That's wonderful, I focus on the ancient near east and the Hermetic schools. I'm particularly fond of Assyria and Persia. However my current thesis is on how ritual effects the human sense of self, community and definition of boundaries.

I am currently attempting to encompass formal ritual, such as Hermetic and Voudan practice, as well as informal ritual in a way which emphasizes their varied roles in the processes of self identification and role assumption. Persian religion is fascinating, it introduced many concepts that would go on to heavily influence modern religious thought.

I'm not terribly exciting, honest. :) I like good movies/shows and going to concerts. When the weather is nice I do like to take advantage of the great outdoors that Oregon has. You should visit sometime, it's the best looking State I've seen and I've been across the US, at least as far as MI. :)

Now that I'm finally getting some more sets out I am offering incentives again. :)
5 votes gets you a copy of your favorite pic, in high res, and a personal thank you message.
10 votes gets you copies of your 3 favorite pics, in high res, and a personal thank you message.
20 votes gets you 10 high res pics and, I you'd like, we can have a lovely chat of your choosing (within reason, of course).
40 votes gets you the whole set, in high res, and a note or chat of your choosing. :)
50 votes or more and you can make a request for anything you'd like, as long as it is reasonable, I'm sure I can accommodate. :)

:D We do too. Neat stuff. We are pretty conflicted between 3 entries about which should be 1st place. We are having a 2nd and a 3rd but that "winner" who gets that pin and cover spot is the issue between Emnes/Scott & I right now. We are both VERY DISAPPOINTED with most entries however there were 5 that totally tickled us and we had the main 3 with no idea the order...and that changed too. :/

Not even sure yet....but theres 5 I really am into as well. I know I don't like being a judge unless in a court and in that case I would slam so many offenses lol. Ppl would be way too afraid to be in front of me and I would need armys to protect me from being killed. Haha.
