Modeling is expensive and everything comes out of my own pocket. Its hard to break even at the end of the month with expenses paid.

I agree with you about the contests. I also wish the winner of the self shot model contest wasn't determined by votes.
i hate it. i see so many beautiful entries that go up but they always get ignored once one of the top models enters.

I have done two outdoor nude shoots where I got poison ivy, even though I and the photographer looked for it. That is not fun! I imagine hives is no fun either, but at least you got some great shots out of it ^_^

i would have died if that happened. i wasnt even thinking about poison ivy during the shoot haha i was more worried about being eaten by a snake :P

i have used Z not only as an awesome site to try and get my work known, as a way of meeting and making new friends, but also as that little extra help in paying the bills when quarters end.
i don't get to shoot as often as i would like to as a lot of models here and it saddens me.
but i will think more on it and see if i can get things swinging in a good motion before making any rash decisions

Hrm, not sure how many photos I ended up taking ... I was playing around for so long!! and thank you so much. =)
Some of it is editing. =) I used a 5sec timer and did a lot of holding with my feet! haha ... truth be told, I shot and edited the whole thing on my iphone. I dont even have a good camera. >.< So... for real ... super first attempt!!! haha
If the set is well received, I would love to do more of them. It was fun ... something very different for me! To be the photographer, I mean. The lighting was just my window, with the blinds half open. The sun was setting fast, which kept making the set darker and darker.....
