About Me

I'm a model! I got started a few years ago doing mostly art projects for friends, segued into nude and fetish work, ended up mainstream, and then realized I'd strayed (for the most part) from the stuff I really love! I joined the site in the hopes of having a place to get lots of feedback and collaborators for those types of work. Now, I'm studying in China, so my work hasn't been too prolific lately, but I'll be back to the states (SF, for you photographers out there reading this)and shooting again in June!

A few people requested a wishlist from me before I moved, but, in all the craziness, I forgot to post it! This is a list of things I'd like to shoot with or that I could really benefit from in my day-to-day life (though mostly fun stuff to shoot in that'll be usable later!). Anybody who buys an item from it will get some extra shots of me with it or using it just for you! Thanks! <3, Gwyndolyn!https://www.amazon.com/registry/wishlist/2DJSRWJZLG6AU/ref=cm_wl_rlist_go_o_C-1_d

The new spring set is beautiful!

    Thanks!

Just seen your new Spring Burst set. Beautiful new set!

  • Posted on 08/13/2012 by Gwyndolyn
    Thank you! :D

  • Posted on 08/10/2012 by KatrinaWhite
Oooh I like the new spring set :)

  • Posted on 08/10/2012 by Gwyndolyn
Thanks! I've been really excited for it to go up! It took us a while to get all the paperwork in the right places, but I'm very glad we did! :D

  • Posted on 08/11/2012 by KatrinaWhite
Totally! Paperwork can be a pain sometimes but it looks like it paid off :)
Are you living in SF permanently now?

  • Posted on 08/12/2012 by Gwyndolyn
It's going to be my new permanent residence, but I won't be there for more than three months at a time for a while because of school.

  • Posted on 08/13/2012 by KatrinaWhite
Oh cool :) Where do you go to school? If you don't mind me asking....

  • Posted on 08/13/2012 by Gwyndolyn
Normally in Indiana, but I'm going to be studying abroad in China for the upcoming academic year.

  • Posted on 08/13/2012 by KatrinaWhite
Wow! That's so cool! What are you majoring in?

  • Posted on 08/15/2012 by Gwyndolyn
I'm double majoring in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Dramaturgy and Comparative Linguistics with a two-language concentration in Spanish and Mandarin. I'm also doing lots of Computational Linguistics research, though.

  • Posted on 08/15/2012 by KatrinaWhite
Ooh coolness! Sounds kinda hard... You've got a lot on your plate....
    I'm a Theatre Arts major too! :)

  • Posted on 08/20/2012 by Gwyndolyn
It is a lot, but it's a fun lot! Have you chosen a concentration yet?

  • Posted on 08/20/2012 by KatrinaWhite
I don't think my school has concentrations within our theatre arts program. I mean many students focus on one aspect but the program forces you to take at least a few clases in different aspects so that the students are well rounded. I'm more into the design side of things right now....

  • Posted on 08/30/2012 by Gwyndolyn
Oh....weird. We have to take classes in every area, but we also have to choose a concentration in which we'll specialize and focus our resume towards that...we turn in a current resume every year to make sure we're working and not just taking classes.

  • Posted on 08/30/2012 by KatrinaWhite
Oh wow! Totally different from my school's theatre program. My school produces three shows per quarter and you get a certain kind of class credit for participating in them. They make that kind of class credit necessary for graduation to make sure we do some active theatre work. But I don't think anyone ever has to submit resumes or anything at my school...

  • Posted on 09/12/2012 by Gwyndolyn
Huh...we have a requirement to do a certain number of school shows in a certain number of different capacities to graduate, but they also pay attention to what we're doing otherwise. Though, with three shows a quarter, your department must be at least twice as large as mine...we did three shows in a semester last year and had so much overlap that everybody was working themselves into the dust!

  • Posted on 09/13/2012 by KatrinaWhite
Yea my theatre department is pretty big. It's a UC school so we have a lot of students. We have to participate in a couple school shows to graduate but no one really pays attention to what shows you do outside of school...

  • Posted on 11/11/2012 by Gwyndolyn
Ooh, okay, that makes sense. How many majors do you have, do you know?

  • Posted on 11/12/2012 by KatrinaWhite
Um I'm not sure actually. UCSC is like 15,000 students I think but I'm not really sure how many are in my major. At least a couple hundred I think...

  • Posted on 11/14/2012 by Gwyndolyn
Lol, so, probably about a hundred times the number we have...

  • Posted on 11/14/2012 by KatrinaWhite
haha how many theatre majors does your school have?

  • Posted on 12/30/2012 by Gwyndolyn
Right now, I think there are about 8 of us.

  • Posted on 12/30/2012 by KatrinaWhite
Wow! Only 8 people? I hope you all get along :) My school must have like at least 250 theatre majors.....

  • Posted on 01/02/2013 by Gwyndolyn
Haha, we do, and, when we don't, everybody else knows and helps with the "let's keep them distracted". That's so many! Your department is a quarter the size of my school!

  • Posted on 01/03/2013 by KatrinaWhite
Haha wow! Our schools sound very different! I went to small private schools for all of my childhood so when college came around, I knew I wanted to go somewhere big.

  • Posted on 01/04/2013 by Gwyndolyn
Haha, see, I've been gradually moving up in size every time I pick a new school. I really like small schools, but it scales up naturally as you get older, I think. My preschool had like 30 students, my elementary had 120 preschool-8th graders, my high school had 500, my undergrad has 1000, the school i'm at in China has 35k, and my grad school will probably have around 60k(unless I come back here)

  • Posted on 01/04/2013 by KatrinaWhite
Hehe wow! 60k is way more than my school even has! I suppose most schools do get bigger as we get older. I had a similar experience to yours. My elementary had around 50 1st-8th graders and my high school around 150 students. I'm currently doing my undergrad at a school with around 15,000 though so that was a big jump for me haha

  • Posted on 01/04/2013 by Gwyndolyn
Yeah, my big jump was from my undergrad in the states to the school I'm at in China, but this school feels a lot smaller because I'm at the International Students Institute, which only has a few thousand people.

  • Posted on 01/04/2013 by KatrinaWhite
What made you choose to go to China for school?

  • Posted on 01/07/2013 by Gwyndolyn
I really love the Chinese language. I've also been studying it for...six and a half years now. It was only natural that I'd show up here eventually! I don't really have the money to travel aimlessly, which brought it down to work or school, and my chinese was too bad for work that wasn't sketchy, so school it is!

  • Posted on 01/07/2013 by KatrinaWhite
Wow! Well it sounds like a great opportunity! :)

  • Posted on 01/11/2013 by Gwyndolyn
I think so! :D I'm pretty pleased with it.

  • Posted on 01/11/2013 by KatrinaWhite

We can shoot a set in Chicago

  • Posted on 06/24/2012 by Gwyndolyn
Okay! What time of day would you like to shoot?

  • Posted on 06/24/2012 by shadowyzman
Morning/Afternoon doesn't sound bad :) What part of Chicago are you going to be in?

  • Posted on 07/10/2012 by Gwyndolyn
Looking forward to our sets going up soon! Had a great time shooting!

  • Posted on 06/21/2012 by Gwyndolyn
    Hi! How are you?

  • Posted on 06/22/2012 by Gwyndolyn
I'm doing pretty well! I'm in Bloomington, IN working with a painter right now! What've you been up to?

  • Posted on 06/22/2012 by Gwyndolyn
    That sounds like fun :D

  • Posted on 06/28/2012 by Gwyndolyn
Haha, I don't watch them very often, but my boyfriend watches them in a ~very serious~ manner. I don't object, because then he makes me things from them :D but I've gotten used to cooking programs being hardcore.

  • Posted on 06/17/2012 by artblanche
Let's shoot in Chicago for sure!

  • Posted on 06/17/2012 by Gwyndolyn
Sounds great! Do you have any preference towards a particular day of the week? Nobody else has expressed one yet...

  • Posted on 06/13/2012 by mfarring13
Thanks for the FR! Welcome to Zivity!

  • Posted on 06/13/2012 by Gwyndolyn

  • Posted on 06/20/2012 by Gwyndolyn
I don't have a free Saturday where I could be in Chicago for a bit, but I'll text.

  • Posted on 06/09/2012 by Gwyndolyn
Thanks! I'm glad you liked it so much! I was worried people wouldn't, because it was so different from my first one, but it was a ton of fun! Thanks for the really specific feedback, too! That's what helps me get better! You're very welcome!

  • Posted on 06/09/2012 by Gwyndolyn
That's fine, too! :D I'm glad you like them both!

  • Posted on 06/10/2012 by Gwyndolyn
I'm glad! I don't have specific plans yet, but I'm working on it!

  • Posted on 06/09/2012 by Gwyndolyn
    Thanks! :D

  • Posted on 06/08/2012 by EnglishBabs
Congratulations on your featured set! School's Out is a great set, and I think it is your best so far. You just keep on getting better and better!

  • Posted on 06/09/2012 by Gwyndolyn
Thanks! I hope so! Improvement is always the goal!

  • Posted on 06/09/2012 by EnglishBabs
Yes, always improvement. That is my goal too.

  • Posted on 06/09/2012 by Gwyndolyn
    It shows!

  • Posted on 06/10/2012 by EnglishBabs
Yes, it is a continual process, isn't it?

  • Posted on 06/10/2012 by Gwyndolyn
Definitely, but that's half the fun, I think!

  • Posted on 06/10/2012 by EnglishBabs
Certainly is! Hope you have had a great Sunday.

  • Posted on 06/11/2012 by Gwyndolyn
I did! There was a picnic! Hope yours was good, too!

  • Posted on 06/11/2012 by EnglishBabs
I love picnics. My Sunday was lovely. Long walk with my English setter Leo, sunbathing in the garden in the afternoon, then circuit training class in the evening.

  • Posted on 06/11/2012 by Gwyndolyn
Oh, that sounds like fun! Have you ever done a set with your dog? I feel like that would be adorable!

  • Posted on 06/11/2012 by EnglishBabs
No I haven't, but you are the second person to suggest it. i might just do that, and he's a handsome boy and would photograph well. If you PM me your email address I will send you a few pics of him.

  • Posted on 06/12/2012 by Gwyndolyn
Oooh, okay! I'll send it right now!

  • Posted on 06/12/2012 by EnglishBabs
I had gone to bed when you sent this last nigh, but emailed the pics acoss to you now.

  • Posted on 06/12/2012 by Gwyndolyn
I figured you had, but I need notifications to remember to respond to things!

  • Posted on 06/12/2012 by EnglishBabs
    Hee hee, me too!

  • Posted on 06/12/2012 by Gwyndolyn
Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one!

  • Posted on 06/12/2012 by EnglishBabs
You're certainly not the only one. My memory is terrible. I quite often go upstairs for something, and then when I get there forget what I went up for. Still , the exercise is good for me!

  • Posted on 06/13/2012 by Gwyndolyn
Haha, I do that, too (though my house doesn't have stairs in it, so it's just other rooms)!

  • Posted on 06/14/2012 by EnglishBabs
The principle is the same though.

  • Posted on 06/14/2012 by Gwyndolyn
Indeed! You, however, get better exercise from yours.

  • Posted on 06/14/2012 by EnglishBabs
True. What are your plans for this weekend, btw?

  • Posted on 06/15/2012 by Gwyndolyn
On Saturday, I'm going folk dancing again in the afternoon, and we're thinking about inviting some friends over to roast marshmallows on the grill (no bonfires in the city!) for smores. Otherwise, no real plans yet. You?

  • Posted on 06/15/2012 by EnglishBabs
Sounds fun! What are smores? I am helping David at the studio tomorrow. He is shooting a Zivity set with a new model. Going out for dinner with friends on Saturday evening, and shooting a new outdoor set with David on Sunday. Then my youngest daughter is coming home on Sunday, and it's her birthday on Monday, so I'm going to cook her a special dinner.

  • Posted on 06/15/2012 by Gwyndolyn
Oh, man. I really really hope you have smores and just call them something different. If not, what a deprivation! You put part of a chocolate bar onto half of a graham cracker, roast a marshmallow, press the still-hot marshmallow against the chocolate so it sticks to it and melts the chocolate, then put another graham cracker on top to keep it from being overly messy. It's one of the most (cont?)

  • Posted on 06/15/2012 by Gwyndolyn
delicious things one can do with a fire, and it has a very cool texture. Also, that sounds like a great weekend! What're you making?

  • Posted on 06/16/2012 by EnglishBabs
I must try making smores. They sound delicious. I haven't decided yet what I am going to cook for my dauhgter on Monday. I will have a look at some recipes, and then go shopping on Monday morning.

  • Posted on 06/16/2012 by Gwyndolyn
They are wonderful! You'll have to let me know what you end up making! Exchanging food is fun!

  • Posted on 06/17/2012 by EnglishBabs
I think I am going to cook lasagne,as that is one of her favourites. She came home today for Father's Day, and my eldest daughter came over for lunch too, so I made a chicken and broccoli pasta bake. Shot a new set this afternoon at a derelict farmhouse. Hope you are having a good Sunday too.

  • Posted on 06/17/2012 by Gwyndolyn
Ooh, lasagna is delicious. That sounds like fun! I was lazy today. I sat around and caught up on internet educationy things.

  • Posted on 06/17/2012 by EnglishBabs
Good to have a lazy day sometimes. That's what weekend are for!

  • Posted on 06/20/2012 by Gwyndolyn
Indeed! I rarely give myself the time off, though! Mostly, if I go missing from responsibilities it's because I'm traveling (like that disappearance I just had!)

  • Posted on 06/20/2012 by EnglishBabs
Busy lady! Hope you have a great Thursday.

  • Posted on 06/21/2012 by Gwyndolyn
I did! I worked with a painter who was went to my school for a while, and I found a cute little game shop in the town where I'm visiting! Thanks for asking! How was yours?

  • Posted on 06/22/2012 by EnglishBabs
That sounds fun. i had a great day. Bought a few things to wear in Ibiza, a pair of denim shorts and some flip-flops, and a really nice bra and panties set. Have a great weekend! Any fun plans?

  • Posted on 06/22/2012 by Gwyndolyn
Oooh, that sounds like fun. I'm going to some sort of local faire thing in the town where I'm working, and there's another session with the painter.

  • Posted on 06/22/2012 by EnglishBabs
Sounds great. Have a wonderful weekend. I am heading into town today to buy my daughter a curling wand for her birthday on Wednesday.

Zivity loves you too.
