Pretty crazy over here... Moving to Tennessee on the 25th of this month, so its been pretty hectic with packing and trying to sell our house, and trying to plan for future photo shoots.
Birthdays are funny... they make you remember just how quickly your life slips away. I'm only 21 today but firmly decided last night that mentally, I still had not aged past 19. Let's hope it stays that way for a while.
My mom, much like myself, has been saying she's 39 for about 18 years. My stepfather and I have both told her that she's allowed to say that, but by the time the math says that she was 12 when I was born, it might be time to go with 49, just to be safe.
I'd like to know when all your birthdays are to make sure they are observed. Although it comes off to some people as a bizarre tradition (celebrating another year alive without having been swallowed up by the void of existence) or cliche or silly or whathaveyou, I think it's important because it's a huge ego boost to know that people are GLAD that you're still around! And heck, it gives you a SECOND "New Year's Day" !
With that being said, my New Year's resolution is to observe others more than I observe myself; to stand up to those who make life unnecessarily harder in the everyday; to finish what I start.
The last one is the hardest, because it is just so easy to say "it's too hard, I quit"... but really, if we gave up that easily, none of us would ever have another birthday.

Good, busy.. when your working both sides of the camera, and being a full time mommy.. and keeping up with the web world. It does take alot out of you.. but I try and keep up with my zivity friends. :)
