Holy heck, I just found out that the guys at Fanime are also doing a simultaneous "Clockwork Alchemy" steampunk-themed convention on the same weekend - one pass gets both cons! Guess I'm taking the shuttle back and forth all weekend!

haha yeah. I suppose if it was closer I would go...but the reason I won't go the distance XD is because I have no car and therefore can't take time off work right now because I'm saving up for one. But it shouldn't be too much longer till I have one then I shall be traveling all over!

Steinhart has nothing on Monterey, I say. I go to Monterey at least once a month. Not just because I'm a member, but because I have to have my otter fix. I'm a otter junkie. It's an addiction. One I will not give up!

I don't remember seeing a walkway there, but they do have an albino alligator! You can't take flash pictures of it, though. Poor fella.
Being a member of the Monterey aquarium is pretty damned awesome, I must say. So worth it. :D

Yes, he's alright, he had to go on some medications but he'll be better soon he got something irritating his ear or his throat and his tonsils/ear is swollen so he has to take some medicine/ear drops haha but he's fine.

I'm glad your pup's okay! My cat's been getting super touchy about some spots on her fur. I might have to take her in to the vet (she hates the car, so that's not a good plan). I'm pretty sure it's just the heat and weather change, though. :)
