Senior Engineer : UI

Zivity’s UI Engineers turn good ideas into great prototypes and evolve those interface prototypes into addictive experiences on Zivity.com. Interface development Zivity is where the rubber meets the road: where testing, design, development, and content collide. We’re seeking one additional developer who knows the web inside and out to help lead Zivity’s evolution from social photo site to a global multimedia publishing brand that empowers artists and turns on subscribers.

You are:

  • An expert UI builder fluent in Javascript, X/HTML, CSS, and AJAX.
  • Well-versed in creating standards-compliant, scalable template systems and layout architectures.
  • A veteran of cross-browser and cross-platform web development.
  • A strong communicator, willing to stick to your guns when it comes to engineering a great website.
  • Comfortable with one or more major web development language s, e.g. PHP, Rails, Perl, Python (We’re a Rails shop)
  • Not easily offended by progressive artwork or content in any form, from photos to music to comedy.
  • Familiarity with Flash, CMSs and asset managers a plus.

This position has the potential to grow into a lead role.
